EVART — Ross E. McCauley of Evart passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at his place of work at the Muskegon River Youth Home. He was 28.
Ross was born November 1, 1989 in Big Rapids to Kirk and Ellen (Sundell) McCauley. He was a lifelong Evart area resident who graduated from Evart High School in 2008. Ross graduated from Saginaw Valley University with a Bachelor Degree and had been working at the Muskegon River Youth Home as a case manager. He enjoyed all sports, hunting, fishing, working on his truck and karaoke.
Ross is survived by his mother, Ellen M. McCauley of Port Orange, Fla.; his father, Kirk (Sherri Bryant) McCauley of Evart; maternal grandmother, Ruth Dean of Eau Claire, Mich.; paternal grandmother, Lu McCauley of Evart; three brothers, Kirk (Amber Sweeney) McCauley of Sears, John (Kiera Salisbury) McCauley of Evart, Todd (Ashley) McCauley of Evart; two nieces, Tia and Emma; and two nephews, Jonathon and Easton.
Funeral services honoring the life of Ross Edward McCauley are 2 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at the Evart High School gymnasium with visitation from noon until time of services. Interment will take place in the Sylvan Township Cemetery, Osceola County, Michigan.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family to offset final expenses.
