EVART — Judy A. Mohr of Osceola Twp. near Evart, passed away peacefully at her home Sunday, July 15, 2018. She was 63.
Mrs. Mohr was born April 17, 1955 in Lansing to Robert and Mary (Snyder) Nartker. She was a 1973 graduate of Haslett High School. Judy married Matthew B. Mohr on January 1, 2001 in Reed City. Judy had been an Evart area resident for the last 37 years, driving school bus for many years, then owning and operating her own lawn care business. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a member of the Marion Fair Board as well as Barn Superintendent for the fair. Judy was heavily involved as a 4-H leader for the Dairy Lads and Lassies 4-H Club and was an avid animal lover.
Judy is survived by her husband, Matthew B. Mohr of Evart; her mother, Mary Nartker of Evart; her daughter, Stacy (Steve) Mosher of Evart; her son, Alan (Lindsey) Mosher of Austin, Texas; four grandchildren, Gabe, Sam, Joe, and Alex; three brothers, Mike Nartker of Steamboat Springs, Co., Dan (Karen) Nartker of Houghton Lake, and Wayne Nartker of Houghton Lake.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Kevin Nartker.
Funeral services for Judy Ann Mohr are 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 20, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Evart with Father Joe Fix officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 19, at the Corey Funeral Home in Evart. Interment will be in Osceola Township Cemetery.
