The third weekend of August has a special meaning.for all who once, or currently live in Reed City.
It always means it is time for the Great American Crossroads Celebration-which quickly becomes a mini-reunion for visitors near and far to the fest.
The softball tournaments drive a big crowd to Westerburg parking, but in town, there is plenty more summer fun.
With Westerburg also being home to the kids games and activities, meanwhile downtown, Reed City is peppered with classic and vintage cars.
Those coming to re-live some Reed City fun, while new games and events each year.
And when the sun goes down, it is time to downtown lounges, where classmates and new friends gather.
Hungry while having fun? No worries, there will be the chicken barbecue at the park.
A mix of part reunion, part softball, plus kids games parade makes for a winning festival each year.
